Our Capabilities
Composite Parts Manufacturing for Defence and Aerospace
Our Ankara-based composite facility combines prepreg autoclave, vacuum infusion, resin transfer moulding (RTM), SMC hot press and filament winding under one roof — producing high-performance, lightweight, durable composite parts for defence and aerospace.
Prepreg and Autoclave
We process carbon and glass-fibre reinforced prepregs in the autoclave to achieve high fibre-volume fraction and low porosity, delivering advanced composite parts. From tooling design to cure cycle, the process is executed under traceable supplier standards.
Our prepreg-autoclave route is preferred for critical applications such as aircraft structures, radomes, UAV body parts and helicopter components — projects that demand tight precision and repeatability.
Vacuum Infusion (VARTM) and Hand Lay-up
For large parts where prepreg alternatives are less cost-effective, we apply vacuum-assisted resin transfer moulding (VARTM). Dry reinforcement fabrics are placed in the tool and resin is drawn through by vacuum, producing a homogeneous composite structure.
Suitable for medium-to-large parts such as shelter panels, container skins, CBRN enclosure domes and exterior components.
RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding)
With RTM — preferred for high-volume serial production — we produce closed-mould composite parts with two-sided surface quality. Resin is injected under controlled pressure into the reinforcement placed in the mould, yielding repeatable serial output.
Suited to scale production of automotive and defence skin parts, sensor enclosures and exterior components.
SMC Hot Press
Hot-press processing of Sheet Moulding Compound (SMC) is preferred when short cycle time, low part cost and mechanical strength are all required. It is applied where electrical insulation, thermal resistance and paintability are needed.
Typical applications: enclosure covers, equipment housings and exterior components.
Filament Winding
For cylindrical and rotationally symmetric structures we apply filament winding. Continuous resin-impregnated fibre is wound onto a rotating mandrel at programmed angles, producing tanks, pipes and tubes with high pressure resistance.
Optimal for rocket-motor casings, pressurised gas cylinders and industrial tank applications.
Quality and Validation
Composite part quality is validated via ultrasonic inspection, thermography, mechanical property tests (tensile, compressive, flexural) and microstructural analysis. Resin systems, hardeners and fibre certificates are preserved in a traceable record chain.
