Military LED Lighting Systems
Military LED Lighting Systems are Özben Defence's family of military lighting products, designed to deliver reliable, low-EMI, mission-adaptable illumination for indoor and outdoor applications across shelters, military vehicles, and fixed military installations.
Military lighting is a specialized engineering discipline with entirely different requirements from everyday civilian lighting. Lighting in a command post must not blind night-vision devices; a panel inside a container must not create light leakage outside when a door is opened; a position floodlight must not produce a heat signature easily detected by enemy thermal imaging systems. The Military Lighting Systems family consists of LED-based lighting solutions developed to meet exactly these operational requirements.
Product Family
The LED lighting family is positioned in two classes covering interior and exterior scenarios:
Interior LED Lighting Unit
Ceiling/wall-mounted LED panels designed for mobile shelters, command posts, container-type facilities, mobile medical stations and map-table applications. With blackout mode, dimmable white light and night-vision-friendly red-light mode.
Exterior LED Lighting Unit
High-lumen output, IP66/67-rated floodlight for camp lighting, position entries, perimeter surveillance and convoy assembly areas. With anti-glare optics and low thermal signature.
Why Military Lighting Is Different
Military use scenarios require the following technical properties:
Blackout compliance
no light leakage to the exterior when doors/windows open; full blackout when required
Night-vision-friendly modes
red light, low-intensity white and IR modes; personnel can work without losing dark adaptation
Low thermal signature
reduced visibility in thermal imaging through an efficient LED driver and passive thermal management
Anti-glare optics
particularly outdoors, focuses the floodlight on the designated sector and reduces stray light
Vibration/shock endurance
no degradation under mechanical stress in vehicle-mounted use or field transport

continuous operation between -32 °C and +55 °C
