Technical Documents
The Exterior LED Lighting Unit is an IP66/67-rated floodlight designed for military camp lighting, position entries, convoy assembly areas and perimeter surveillance scenarios, delivering high luminous output and endurance under harsh weather. Unlike commercial floodlights, its anti-glare optics, low thermal signature management and MIL-STD environmental durability meet the full set of challenges that military operations demand.
Why Military Exterior Lighting Is Different
A military floodlight is not simply "a light that illuminates" — it is an operational asset:
Light leakage control
commercial floodlights scatter light broadly; the military version illuminates the designated sector while minimizing light spill in other directions. This preserves the concealment of the position and provides an advantage against enemy observation.
Low thermal signature
an efficient LED driver and passive heat sink reduce visibility to thermal imagers (such as FLIR).
Vibration/shock endurance
resistant to failure under mechanical stress in vehicle-mounted, mast-mounted and field-deployed use.

Installation and Integration
The unit can be mounted on masts, wall-mounted or on a vehicle arm. In mast-mounted configurations, an optional dusk-to-dawn sensor provides automatic on/off control. Configuration planning — mast height, beam-angle selection, power budget and cable layout — is prepared project by project by the engineering team.
