Military Shelter Manufacturing and Mobile Structures

Özben Savunma manufactures container-type, vehicle-mounted and field-expandable shelters tailored to each mission profile. Dimensions and configurations are shaped to standard 10 ft / 20 ft ISO container formats or to a vehicle-specific chassis footprint.

Container shelters are used for permanent bases, headquarters and deployable centres; vehicle-mounted shelters for radar operator cabins, C2 and communications; expandable shelters for rapidly deployed field operations that grow two- to three-fold on site.

Shelter designs are engineered to environmental (MIL-STD-810) and electromagnetic (EMI/RFI, MIL-STD-461) requirements. Insulation thickness, panel materials and gasket details are dimensioned to provide –32 °C to +55 °C operating range, IP66 sealing and high vibration resistance.

Mechanical design, air filtration (CBRN-ready interface), HVAC layout and interior ergonomics are handled in a single integrated CAD model. Structural analysis is validated with finite-element (FEA) methods covering shock and seismic scenarios.

We do not stop at the bare shelter hull; every subsystem the customer needs is integrated under one roof. Power distribution and cabling, lighting, HVAC units, operator consoles, cable transit plates, RF-tight door and window elements, CBRN filtration interfaces and damage-control hardware are all integrated so that the shelter is delivered as a plug-and-play system.

Product tree and configuration management are executed to prime-contractor standards; acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) is reported per customer protocols.

Our 75,000 m² facility in Ankara ASO 1st Organized Industrial Zone brings metal fabrication, welding, painting, composite production and mechanical assembly lines into a single production flow. This integrated setup shortens the supply chain from concept to delivery and enables single-point quality control.

Our quality processes are managed under ISO 9001 and structured to defence-specific requirements (AQAP-2110). Welding operations are executed by certified welders under WPS/PQR documentation.

We are a long-standing partner to prime contractors under the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation. We supply parts and subsystems to primes such as ASELSAN, ROKETSAN, TUSAŞ, HAVELSAN and FNSS, and manufacture for radar systems, C2 centres and mobile operational platforms.
